The staff and faculty at Dental Assisting Institute advise students who have questions related to the curriculum or working as a dental assistant. The school also provides them with names and addresses of potential employers in the state of Florida. During the final weeks of the program, undergrads work in a dental office as part of their practicum.
Upon graduation, students must complete three months and 200 hours of on-the-job training. With hands-on training, education, and experience, graduates receive multiple certifications recognized through the state board. These are essential to finding work as a dental assistant in Florida.
