A nursing school with one program
Arizona College of Nursing launched its BSN in 2013. It is private and for-profit, owned by Eduvision, Inc., and has grown from 13 campuses in nine states in October 2022 to 25 campuses in 15 states by October 2026. Every campus teaches the same program, a pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Tempe is the main campus; the Phoenix headquarters on West Dunlap Avenue is an office, not a campus.
The program: a pre-licensure BSN
Arizona College of Nursing teaches a single program, the pre-licensure BSN, at all 25 of its campuses. It offers no LPN, LPN-to-RN, RN-to-BSN, master’s or doctoral program; a December 2025 partnership gives graduates discounted MSN study at American College of Education, a separate school.

What the BSN covers
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
The BSN runs nine semesters over about three years. Year one is general education, including biology, psychology, human development and cultural diversity, taught in eight-week evening blocks. Year two adds health foundations and the first clinical course, and year three covers advanced nursing with specialty rotations. Students complete 630 clinical hours (765 at Aurora, CO) of direct and indirect care at local facilities the school arranges, plus simulation labs. A background check is due by the end of Semester 1. The $700 semester fee covers ATI resources, scrubs, drug testing, textbooks and NCLEX support.
BSN tuition by campus and paying for it
BSN tuition is 120 credits times the campus’s per-credit rate, from the catalog effective 31 August 2026. On top of tuition the catalog lists a $49 registration fee and a $700 resource fee per semester, covering ATI resources, scrubs, background screening, drug testing, lab and simulation supplies, tutoring, textbooks, graduation regalia and NCLEX support. The last column assumes that fee is charged in all nine semesters, as the “per semester” wording suggests; confirm it with the school. There is no in-state or out-of-state difference.

The school’s 2026–27 financial aid budget puts annual BSN tuition at $19,176 to $28,560 (24 credits) plus $1,400 in fees, and total cost of attendance for an eight-month year at $38,009 to $47,393 for students living with parents and $46,595 to $55,979 for those living away. Students also pay for a physical exam ($200–$300), liability insurance ($39–$40), clinical equipment ($150), a licensure background check ($49–$112) and fingerprinting ($45). IPEDS figures reported by Data USA give an average net price of $28,726 at Tempe (2022, an older year).
The school takes federal student aid (Title IV), and its Tampa and Sarasota pages list Florida’s Bright Futures scholarships. Campus pages list five named BSN scholarships (Futures, Advancement, Working Parent, Achievement and Opportunity), with maximums of up to $10,000 at Phoenix, Tempe and Fort Lauderdale and up to $5,000 at most other campuses (October 2026). A Scholars Network partnership announced in April 2026 offers employer-sponsored loan repayment and job pathways, starting at Cincinnati, Cleveland, Falls Church and Hartford; amounts are not published. The school is listed as a Military Friendly School for 2025–26.
Admissions and schedule
BSN applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent and either a 2.75 GPA or an HESI A2 composite score of 75% or more, which waives the GPA requirement; the catalog’s minimum HESI A2 composite is 60%. No prerequisite courses are required, and a background check must be completed by the end of Semester 1. Admission is rolling, with about six starts a year, roughly every eight weeks; most campus pages listed 26 October 2026 as the next start and said there was no waitlist. General-education courses run in eight-week evening blocks.
Accreditation, state approvals and NCLEX results
The institution is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), continuously since 1994; a five-year reaccreditation was announced in October 2022, and Connecticut press reported the grant as valid through February 2027. The BSN is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), not ACEN. The school says CCNE has been notified of every campus except Arlington, Atlanta, Columbus, Fort Worth and Milwaukee, which become eligible when their first students reach Semester 5. The Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education licenses the school in Arizona. In 2026 the National League for Nursing named the college a Center of Excellence, and ANCC accredited its continuing professional development for nurses.
Each campus needs its own state board approval, and those approvals differ. NCLEX-RN rates below are first-time pass rates published by state boards; we found board data only for Arizona, Florida, Nevada, Texas, Utah and Connecticut. The school’s own figure is an average of 84.41% across all reporting campuses in 2025. In 2025 the Arizona and Florida campuses were all below their state averages. Rates are not yet available for the newer campuses.

Tempe probation, 2022–2025
In a consent agreement of 25 May 2022, the Arizona State Board of Nursing placed the Tempe BSN on probation for at least 36 months. The board’s findings included corporate decisions made over the dean’s objections, among them the dismissal of 32 clinical faculty two weeks before the fall 2021 term; cancellation of up to 19% of clinical experiences; unsupervised students; weak exam proctoring; and BSN completion falling from 71% in 2019 to 56% in 2020–21. The terms required quarterly reports, 1:10 clinical and 1:30 classroom ratios and an outside consultant. The board ended the probation on 24 February 2025 with no remaining conditions.
Other disputes
In Connecticut, a 2022 dispute over the campus’s approval ended with a January 2023 agreement with the Board of Examiners for Nursing, made to avoid litigation; the East Hartford campus opened in fall 2023. In Milwaukee, the Plan Commission rejected the campus in February 2024 and the Common Council approved it in June 2024; nine council members later issued a warning about “predatory colleges”. We found no ABHES action against the school.
Placement and graduation rates
The school publishes placement rates using the ABHES method. For BSN graduates between 1 July 2024 and 30 June 2025: Salt Lake City 99%, Tampa 93%, Tucson 92%, Aurora 91%, Phoenix 90%, Tempe 89%, Fort Lauderdale 89%, Las Vegas 85%, Dallas 85%, Ontario 84%, Falls Church 75%, Southfield 74% and Sarasota 50%. The other 12 BSN campuses had no data: the report marked 11 as “new program” and did not list Arlington.
Graduation rates are less useful for the BSN so far: the only reported cohort (2019–20) had 12 students at Tempe, 4 at Las Vegas and 1 at Dallas.
Before you enroll
- The price is high for a BSN. Tuition alone is $95,880 to $142,800 for 120 credits (2026–27), plus about $6,300 in resource fees and other costs. Compare it with public BSN and associate-degree nursing programs in your state before you sign.
- Pass rates trail state averages in places. In 2025 every Arizona and Florida campus with reported results was below its state’s first-time NCLEX-RN average, and Fort Lauderdale fell to 82.61%. Ask for your own campus’s latest board-reported rate.
- Many campuses are new. Arlington, Atlanta, Columbus, Fort Worth and Milwaukee are not yet covered by CCNE notification, several campuses hold only initial or conditional board approval, and Ohio’s board list (about August 2025) shows conditional approval where the school says full. Twelve of the 25 BSN campuses had no placement data for 2024–25.
- Check where you can be licensed. The school’s disclosure says the BSN meets California and Colorado requirements only at the Ontario and Aurora campuses, and does not meet New York, Oregon or District of Columbia requirements. Moving after graduation may mean extra steps.
Career help and further study
The school offers no student housing. BSN students get NCLEX support through the resource fee, and the Scholars Network partnership adds job pathways and loan repayment at four campuses. The American College of Education partnership (December 2025) offers graduates discounted MSN study at that school.
What students say
None of the school’s BSN campus pages on Niche that we could open has 25 or more reviews: Dallas has 11 and St. Louis fewer (checked 5 October 2026). Niche’s network page lists Tempe at 4.58 out of 5 from 57 reviews, but we could not open the Tempe page to confirm it or read the reviews. We found no Trustpilot page for the school.
