Bidwell Training Center

What Is It Known For?

Bidwell Training Center was established in 1968 to address a local need: vocational training and job placement in construction trades.

A major shift came a few years later when William E. Strickland, Jr. stepped in as leader in 1972. His approach shaped the school’s atmosphere, bringing in programs that matched community needs and gave learners encouragement that carried beyond the classroom.

With more than five decades of service behind it, Bidwell Training Center continues connecting unemployed residents with workforce opportunities, while impacting the community for the better.
