The Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) is a network of 17 technical high schools across the state. It serves about 10,200 high school students each year, plus over 3,000 adult learners in aviation and apprenticeship programs.
CTECS has been around for more than a century, providing education and training that leads directly to jobs for both teens and adults. Along with its high schools, CTECS runs a technical education center and two programs for aircraft maintenance. This system has been helping Connecticut residents build careers since the early 1900s.
