What Is It Known For?
Florida National University started as Computech Institute in 1982. Drs. José and María Regueiro, along with Mr. Omar Sánchez, acquired the school and guided its growth through several expansions. The institution became Florida National University in 2012, gaining approval to offer graduate programs. Today, FNU provides 53 academic programs across three campuses and a distance learning center.
Students choose from certificates through Master’s degrees in six divisions: Business, Nursing, Allied Health, Humanities and Liberal Arts, English as a Second Language, and Social and Behavioral Sciences. The main campus enrolled 2,638 students in 2023, with similar numbers expected annually.
