Back in 2015, Dr. Yaroslav Yarmolyuk and his team were busy growing their orthodontic practice, opening new locations across Chicagoland. Along the way, they realized that finding well-trained orthodontic assistants was becoming a challenge. Seeing this, Dr. Yarmolyuk combined his love for dentistry with his passion for teaching and opened The Illinois Health Careers.
Today, with four campus locations, the school is renowned for its specialized training in the healthcare field. It operates independently and is not part of a larger network of state community colleges. The school also serves a diverse student body with approximately 500 students enrolled each semester.
