Financial Aid Services
When it comes to paying for their education, J-Tech students have access to several financial aid options. In addition to federal loans and government grants, learners can apply for one of the institution’s private scholarships. These awards can range from $1,000 to $3,000 and help students afford tuition, books and other course training equipment.
J-Tech offers a variety of resources to help students succeed. In addition to academic advising, tutoring, and housing referral services, the Learning Resource Center offers interactive workshops where pupils can practice the skills they’ve learned in class. The school also has a student lounge, rental lockers and a fitness center for its attendees.
As part of their curriculum, J-Tech requires all students to take a College and Career Planning course. During this class, learners study business communication to develop their professionalism and team-building skills. They also create individual career plans and learn how to target employment opportunities, write resumes and master the online application process.
Veteran and Military Services
J-Tech is committed to assisting military students with their academic and career goals. The school offers flexible scheduling for active duty service members to help them manage their time more easily. Veterans and their families may also receive tuition assistance through government programs such as the GI Bill, Veterans Education Assistance Programs and the Fry Scholarship.
