JCCC’s main campus on College Boulevard in Overland Park, in the Kansas City metro, teaches nearly all of the college’s credit programs and is the address most program pages give. It houses the Dental Hygiene program and its Dental Hygiene Clinic, the electrical, HVAC, plumbing, welding, automotive and construction management programs, the Chef Apprenticeship, hospitality and pastry programs, interior and graphic design, IT, web and business programs, fire science and the transfer degrees.

Kansas City Kansas Community College
The Main Campus on State Avenue is KCKCC’s administrative center and the home of its transfer degrees and several licensed health programs. The Associate Degree Nursing program has its own Nursing Building here, Respiratory Care meets at this address, and Mortuary Science is taught in the Flint Building. The campus also has a Health Professions and Public Safety Building, and the Fire Science Building sits a short way east at 6840 State Avenue. Theatre students use the Performing Arts Center.
The Dr. Thomas R. Burke Technical Education Center is where KCKCC teaches most of its trades: more than 20 daytime career programs leading to certificates. They include welding (with two robotic welding cells), electrical, HVAC/R, construction, building engineering and maintenance, machine technology, surveying, cosmetology, nail technology, culinary arts, medical assistant, nurse aide and medication aide, computer support and administrative office training. Automotive Technology and Auto Collision Repair are taught in the center’s TEC 2 & 3 annex at 6736 State Avenue.
The Downtown Center, KCKCC’s Community Education, Health and Wellness Center, opened for classes on 17 August 2026 as part of a $67 million project. It teaches Automation Engineer Technology, Commercial Construction, Administrative Office Professional and Biomanufacturing, has a welding lab on its lower level, and offers general education, GED and ESL classes. Kansas City, KS public school juniors and seniors can earn a Commercial Construction Technology AAS here. Swope Health and CommunityAmerica Credit Union share the building.

Paul Mitchell Schools
Paul Mitchell The School Overland Park, on West 95th Street in the Kansas City area, teaches 1,500-hour cosmetology and 1,000-hour esthetics. Its page says a nail program is coming in 2027. It is operated by Midwest Advanced Education, LLC.

Rasmussen University
Rasmussen’s Kansas City/Overland Park campus is at 11600 College Boulevard in Overland Park. It teaches the associate degree in nursing and the pre-licensure BSN. In 2025 the Kansas Board of Nursing approved more BSN admissions here, from 10 to 20 a quarter, and raised ADN admissions across the two Kansas campuses from 64 to 79 a quarter from January 2026. 2025 first-time NCLEX-RN rates were 87.5% for the Kansas ADN and 81.82% for this campus’s BSN. The Topeka campus moved in April 2023 from its north Topeka site to 3722 SW Burlingame Road. It teaches the associate degree in nursing and the pre-licensure BSN; its campus page lists other health programs that Rasmussen’s program pages do not confirm for Kansas. The Kansas ADN, taught here and in Overland Park, had an 87.5% first-time NCLEX-RN rate in 2025, and 41.9% of its 2023–24 entrants finished on time. Phone (785) 228-7320.

Upper Iowa University
UIU-Fort Riley, in Room 102 at 211 Custer Avenue, is UIU’s only Kansas location since Fort Leavenworth closed in 2023, and the center with the widest class schedule: day, evening and weekend classes, which students can combine with online and self-paced courses. Service members using tuition assistance pay $250 a credit (2026-27), and UIU accepts up to 90 credits from JST, CCAF, DANTES, CLEP and ACE-evaluated training.

Washburn Tech
The Bruce and Theresa McPherson Campus on SW Huntoon is Washburn Tech’s main campus, and Higher Learning Commission records list it as an additional location of Washburn University. Most programs are taught here: Practical Nursing, the LPN-to-RN nursing degree, Surgical Technology, Sterile Processing, Phlebotomy, EMR, EMT and Advanced EMT, automotive, collision and diesel technology, Construction Technology, Cabinetry & Millwork, HVAC, machining, welding, drafting, graphics, information systems, business, culinary arts and early childhood education. It has a regional simulation center and the Little Learners childcare lab.
Washburn Tech East, on SE Washington Street, is the campus for Plumbing Technology, evening Electrical Technology (Monday to Thursday, 5:30 to 9:30 pm, starting in January), Industrial Production Technology and the four-week Commercial Driver’s License course, a continuing-education class that costs $4,500 plus an enrollment fee and is not eligible for financial aid. Certified Nurse Aide, Certified Medication Aide and Home Health Aide courses run here as well as at the main campus, and the site also offers GED and ESL classes.
Washburn Tech North, in North Topeka, opened in August 2026 in a renovated 90,000-square-foot former Kmart building, funded with $6.25 million from the State of Kansas and $1.6 million in federal money for equipment. It houses the Washburn Tech Academy of Cosmetology and its public salon, which moved here in June 2026, along with Industrial Machine/Maintenance Technology, the FAME advanced manufacturing program and the college’s Business and Industry Center. The opening announcement also lists day Electrical Technology here, but the program page still gives the Huntoon campus, so confirm the campus.
