The Building Institute's HVAC program runs about nine months to a year, depending on the start date, with 312 hours of instruction on Monday to Thursday evenings. It covers safety, EPA refrigerant rules and residential and commercial heating and cooling, and EPA 608 testing is included in the $8,000 tuition (no effective date posted).
