Aviation Institute of Maintenance
AIM Philadelphia, on Grant Avenue, teaches the Aviation Maintenance Technician (A&P) certificate and the PAMC exam-prep course on day or evening shifts, in a 48,000-square-foot campus with two hangars. Older listings show avionics programs here; they are no longer on AIM’s site. Pennsylvania students can combine the PA State Grant with federal aid.

Community College of Philadelphia
The Main Campus on Spring Garden Street teaches most of the college’s credit programs. Its West Building houses the health programs: Nursing, Dental Hygiene with its 16-chair clinic, Medical Laboratory Technician, Diagnostic Medical Imaging, Respiratory Care Technology, Health Services Management and Patient Service Representative, plus Chemical Technology. Culinary Arts and Tourism & Hospitality Management are on the second floor of the Pavilion. Continuing education, workforce programs and Career Services are in the Center for Business and Industry, and the Veterans Resource Center is in the Bonnell Building. Business, IT, arts and transfer degrees are taught here too.
The Career & Advanced Technology Center on Market Street opened in 2022, replacing the college’s old West Philadelphia auto shop, and focuses on transportation, manufacturing and entry-level health care. It is the home of the Toyota T-TEN and Medium & Heavy Truck Technology degrees and the college’s automotive shop. Noncredit courses here include evening Structural Welding (300 hours), Electro-Mechanical Technology for industrial maintenance (480 hours), Nurse Aide Training (128 hours) and in-person Pharmacy Technician sections. The building also has an Innovation Hub with 3-D printing labs.
The Northeast Regional Center on Townsend Road has more than 50 classrooms, a biology lab and an art studio. Students can complete the Medical Assistant Proficiency Certificate and the Health Care Studies and Liberal Arts AAs entirely here, and it is the site of the 600-hour noncredit Massage Therapy program. Accounting, business, English, justice and psychology degrees, and the Accounting Paraprofessional certificate, combine classes here with online courses.
The West Regional Center has 25 classrooms in two buildings. Students can earn the Liberal Arts – Social/Behavioral Science, Psychology and Religious Studies degrees through classes here combined with online courses. The center also hosts tours and admission events for the nearby Career & Advanced Technology Center on Market Street.

Empire Beauty Schools
The Philadelphia-Center City campus, on Chestnut Street, teaches 1,250-hour cosmetology ($20,095, September 2026) and hybrid educator training. Its 2024 NACCAS disclosure gave 44.50% graduation and 63.38% licensure, both the lowest among Empire’s Pennsylvania campuses, with 72.73% placement.
The Philadelphia-Northeast campus, in the Knights Road Shopping Center on Woodhaven Road, is a main campus for federal aid and one of two Pennsylvania campuses with 300-hour esthetics ($4,847). It also teaches 1,250-hour cosmetology ($20,095) and hybrid educator training (September 2026).

Prism Career Institute
Prism’s Philadelphia campus, on Roosevelt Boulevard, opened in November 2004 and is the only Prism campus currently marketing Practical Nursing. PN runs by day (Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or in an evening/weekend format, with clinicals at area facilities; the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing lists it as Provisional (July 2026). Medical Assistant is taught here by day only. Pennsylvania’s State Board of Private Licensed Schools licenses the campus, and PA students can apply for PHEAA state grants.

Strayer University
The Center City campus moved from Cherry Street to Market Street after Middle States approved the relocation on 30 October 2025. It is open Monday to Friday and is Strayer’s only Pennsylvania campus; Allentown, Lower Bucks County and other sites have left the catalog. Pennsylvania residents pay $2,540 per MBA course over 12 courses, rather than $3,045 over 10 (2026–27).

Automotive Training Center
ATC’s Exton campus on Pickering Way is in Chester County, in the Philadelphia area. The school moved here from Philadelphia in 1971, and its history page describes the site as a 25,000-square-foot building with 10 shops on five acres. Exton teaches Automotive Technology (day and evening), Automotive and Hi-Performance, Automotive and Diesel, and Collision Reconditioning; marine training is at Warminster. Federal data count 366 students, and ACCSC named Exton a School of Excellence for 2024-25.

Universal Technical Institute
UTI Exton, west of Philadelphia, teaches Automotive, Diesel, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, Robotics and Welding. Manufacturer add-ons here include BMW, Cummins and Ford.

Lansdale School of Business
The North Wales campus at 290 Wissahickon Avenue is Lansdale School of Business’s main campus, in the North Penn area of suburban Philadelphia. It is the only location named on the Practical Nursing program’s approval from the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing, and its medical lab serves the Medical Assistant degree. The business, accounting, office and paralegal degrees and diplomas also meet here, on Monday to Thursday evenings. There is no campus housing.
